Managers/Coaches Code of Conduct

It is the Manager’s responsibility to:


Run training sessions for their team;

Co-ordinate with other Club Managers for their age group to ensure fixtures are played;

Provide home game results to either the League representative by the agreed deadline;

Ensure the correct match report is submitted to the correct league secretary by the agreed deadline in order to avoid club fines;

Ensure safety of their team members while they are under their supervision;

Abide by the rules of the Football Association (FA), League, and Club as detailed in handbooks and this document;

Ensure all team member act within the rules of the Football Association (FA), League, and Club as details in handbooks and this document;

Collect and submit appropriate subscriptions from team members;

Attend Committee and League Meetings or send a suitable representative in their place.

It is the role of Assistant Managers or Coaches to help Managers and ensure that all above responsibilities are fulfilled in the Manager’s absence. Although always welcome, they are not expected to attend the Committee meeting except in the Manager’s absence.
