Impressive Juniors U7's net 15 goals

The Spirits were high as northowram juniors travelled to lightcliffe on the back of 4 successive wins.

Northowram were hungry from the off, they got into an early rhythm of good possession and passing play spreading the ball freely around the pitch.

It wasn't long before the deadlock was broke, some good passing found Marshall in space which he neatly turned and struck the ball in the top right hand corner 1-0 northowram.

Lightcliffe couldnt get to grips with northowrams fast tempo and was soon on the back foot, Leo Austin played the ball out wide to marshall who looked up and found charlie in acres of space, a couple of neat touches from charlie and he set toby a nice tap in for number 2, a good team goal.

Northowram was pressing relentlessly again, with some neat interplay in the final third, Leo got a shot away which was bloked by the defenders arm PENALTY!

Up stepped Charlie English who smashed the ball into the top left corner, super penalty!!

The flood gates started to open, northowram was going from strenth to strenth, after putting 4 passes of good quality togther Charlie calmly slotted home for his second of the game.

Leo collects the ball deep in his own half, with skill and flair runs full length of the pitch before finding the killer ball finished off by Max Eastwood.

Lightcliffe get a rare attack but its quickly delt with by Matthew Benn and Cormac who get thier team out of danger. Ligtcliffe brake free again getting a shot off but the safe hands of Archie Brooman keeps his clean sheet in tact.

Some neat play by Marshall and Toby Find Charle in space for Charlie to claim his hat trick.

Leo plays a great ball around back of defence and the pace of Marshall was to much for the defenders and he slots home for his second of the game. That completed the scoring in a goal frenzy first half 7-0 Northowram.

Ligtcliffe kick off and Toby cheekily robs possession taking on 2 defenders before firing the ball home, great individual goal! Toby was back on the score sheet again a few minutes later getting his third of the game.

A long throw from Leo and a flick on by Charlie was calmly finished by Marshall for his hat trick too.

Josh Sutcliffe clears the ball into the middle of the park were it finds Leo who turns and goes on a run beating 2 defenders then smashing ball home for a well deserved goal.

Northowram continued to dominate play in every area off the pitch and unbelievably there was still more goals to come from Marshall, Leo, Cormac and Toby.

Northowram juniors played fantastic today with some top class passing and a good all round performance but uve got to give credit to lightcliffe despite constant pressure they gave it thier all, right till the final whistle.
