A Sunny Sunday morning away at Elland, and the Rams were really up for it. The game kicked off with the majority of their players staying on the field after the A team had played!! A familiar move of the C' teams when they play against us. A tight first half in which the Rams had better of the chances but were unable to score. Elland in one of their rare attacks opened the scoring with a fluke goal, that looped high and over the head of our keeper Jack Allwood.
HALF TIME 0-1
The Rams were straight back into it once the second half started with some good passing play throughout the team. Against the run of play again Elland broke and won a penalty. The penalty was taken low to the right of Jacks goal. Jack leapt like a salmon to his right and saved the penalty before gathering the ball at the feet of the strike who was in for the rebound. This charged up the Rams and they piled forward to equalise through a fantastic finish into the top corner from a Kaellan Reid shot. The Rams knew the win could be achieved if they continued to push forward. The winner came from a great team move which Kaellan Reid took in his stride to finish low into the net.
FULL TIME 1-2
Another great team peformance from the Rams, but much of the credit goes to Jack Allwood and Kaellan Reid for their great displays.
