Saville Town 'B 1 - 2 Northowram Rams 'C

The Rams turned up ready to and avenge their only defeat of the season which was at home to Saville Town 2-1 at the end of October. The match started with the Rams pushing forward to try and snatch an early lead through some great passing and movement involving Kaellan R,Harris R, Tom K and Tom C. Jamie S was starting to run the game from the back and midfield assisted by Euan McCay pace and strong defending.The deadlock was broken with a neat run passed two defenders and a great shot from Tom K. ST 0-1 NR

The Rams were well on top, and there was no way through for the home side with rock solid defence from Robert Wood and Ollie G. The Rams then went two up!! Tom K had a great shot that cam back from the post for Kaellan (fox in the box)Reid to slot in the rebound. ST 0-2 NR

Half Time ST 0-2 NR

The second half kicked off with Jack A changing places in net with Tom K playing in midfield. The Rams still looked good for their 2-0 lead but as the half went on Saville Town did come more into the match, scoring low at the near post to make it ST 1-2 NR. With great runs from Euan and Jamie the Rams always looked like they could get another. In a move that lead to Lucas W passing to Tom K, the ball was then chipped to a free Kaellan R, who killed the ball and then turned to shoot past the giant keeper only to see the ball come back off the post.In the last five minutes Saville Town through everything to try and get the equaliser but through great defending by all the lads, the Rams held firm. Special mention to a great last 10 minutes in goal by Robert W, who gathered every shot and cross.
